COMPUTER LABORATORY
Gartmore Tamil Vidhyalayam
Gartmore Tamil Vidyalayam, located in a rural tea estate community, faces deep educational barriers—particularly in access to IT education. With low literacy rates, high dropout levels, and limited digital resources, students in the tea estate communities are often locked out of opportunities for higher education and skilled employment.
To break this cycle, Cross Culture Tours and Come Visit Sri Lanka have provided the region's first fully equipped computer lab—following a school-wide renovation completed in June 2024—to bring digital learning and future possibilities within reach.
